Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) is a free program for adults 18+ experiencing depression or anxiety-related concerns. Available virtually, by phone and in-person, OSP offers a range of services designed to address patient concerns and teach practical coping skills and strategies.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • All OSP services are evidence-based and informed by cognitive-behavioural therapy.
  • Most people begin with self-led resources guided by a coach or clinician and move to individual or group therapy if they need more support.
  • The care team will closely monitor client progress through treatment.
  • Adults can refer themselves to the program or get a referral from a health care provider.
  • OSP can help people with depression and low mood, generalized anxiety and worry, obsessive-compulsive concerns, post-traumatic stress, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, specific fears and stress-related problems.
  • OSP is co-ordinated by 10 regional networks across the province. These networks partner with community-based organizations to deliver services locally.

To learn more, please review the provider fact sheet in English or French.

The program is co-ordinated by 10 networks across the province, including CMHA York and South Simcoe in central region. To find your local network and start referring patients, visit ontariohealth.ca/osp.
