Raise taxes on the rich

The article tries to make the point that by increasing the tax burden on rich people they will not be as entrepreneurial as they are now and they will invest in a place where the pickings are better. The suggestion is that the creative spirit is somehow connected to financial gain. I doubt very much that Henry Ford, Thomas Edison or Steve Jobs had that as their first priority. It is my experience that quite often the creative people are taken advantage of by wealthy people and they are sometimes left penurious. Rich people are not paying a disproportionate level of taxes. They are, generally, a higher burden on the world as they consume more resources than the rest of us. One of the best ways to equalize their contribution is to raise their taxes considerably.
